We at ISB Academy in Dubai (Approved by the UAE Dubai Knowledge and Human Development Authority – KHDA, Permit No. 631419) are proud to announce that the online department of our institution, operated and managed from Switzerland, recently underwent a comprehensive institutional inspection conducted by ASIC (Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges & Universities).
ISB Academy is part of the ISBM International School of Business Management in Switzerland, which is itself part of the Swiss International University (SIU) network in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic. SIU is a state-accredited institution licensed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (KG), ensuring that all degrees issued within the network are legal, recognized, and accepted worldwide.
Why This Inspection Holds Great Value
ASIC is one of the most respected and internationally recognized accreditation bodies in the education sector. It is officially recognized by the British Government, listed in the U.S. Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) International Directory, and is a member of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) and the British Qualifications Framework (BQF).
Importantly for our UAE-based students, ASIC is also listed as a recognized quality assurance body by the UAE Ministry of Education and the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA).
A Rigorous and Comprehensive Process
An ASIC inspection is not a symbolic formality — it is a thorough, evidence-based review, comparable to a regulatory audit, aimed at ensuring institutions meet the highest international standards in:
Academic Excellence – Evaluating the quality, relevance, and global alignment of online programs.
Governance & Compliance – Reviewing leadership accountability, policies, and adherence to regulations.
Digital Infrastructure & Resources – Assessing the adequacy and readiness of online learning platforms and operational systems.
Online Student Support & Wellbeing – Ensuring distance learners receive comprehensive academic and personal assistance.
ASIC is known for its strict, impartial, and no-compromise approach to quality assurance. Institutions that fail to meet its benchmarks risk losing accreditation.
Commitment to Quality in Online Education
At ISB Academy, we view such inspections as an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to continuous improvement and transparency. Being KHDA-approved and part of a globally recognized university network allows us to provide our students with an online education they can trust — backed by internationally validated quality standards.
Quality assurance is not a one-time milestone — it is a responsibility we proudly uphold every day.
